welcome to veritas terminal
One place to find, check, and publish important stories
Veritas Terminal is a workspace for news teams. It helps you spot stories early, check every fact, write in your own voice, and work together — without juggling ten different tools. No account needed to look around.
Find stories
The system watches public news sources for you. When something big happens, it shows up on your radar — ready to look into.
Check the facts
Every claim gets its own checklist. You can see what's proven, what's not, and how sure you can be before you publish.
Publish everywhere
Write your notes once. The tool turns them into an article, a video script, or a social thread — in your own human voice.
getting started
Your first hour, step by step
Follow these in order. Each step takes a few minutes, and you can stop anytime.
- 1
Make your account
Takes about a minute. Email or Google — your choice.
Once you're in, you get a role (like reporter or editor). Your role decides what you can approve and see. The first person to join a newsroom becomes the editor automatically.

Look at Mission Control
One screen that shows everything going on in your newsroom.
You'll see every story, what stage it's at (just a lead, being checked, ready to publish), plus any warnings that need attention. Think of it as the front desk of the whole app.

Let the radar find stories
The Story Radar watches public sources and flags things that matter.
Each signal comes with a plain summary, a score for how big it could be, and ideas for where to start digging. You decide: approve it, ignore it, or turn it into a real story with one click.

Ask the Copilot for help
A chat assistant that knows what your newsroom is working on.
Ask it to write interview questions, spot contradictions in documents, or suggest who to talk to next. It always tells you when something still needs to be verified — it never pretends to know.
Try the Copilot - 5
Check every fact
The Verification page tracks each claim, one by one.
For every claim you'll see how many sources back it up and a confidence score. Nothing should reach readers until the important claims are solid. This is the heart of the whole system.

Turn notes into drafts
Paste your rough notes — get a clean draft back.
Pick a format: news article, broadcast script, social thread, or infographic plan. Anything that still needs checking gets a ⚠ flag so it can't slip through. You can also adjust how 'human' the writing voice feels.

Work together
The Workflow Hub is where your team writes, comments, and approves.
Everyone can edit the same draft live, leave comments next to the work, and request sign-off when a story is ready. Risky stories need an extra acknowledgement before approval — on purpose.

Stay safe before publishing
The Legal Layer reads your draft and flags anything risky.
It looks for things like unproven accusations, privacy problems, or missing right-of-reply. You get plain-language fixes for each issue. It's not a lawyer — but it catches problems early.
